Girls* Group: Roleplaying Games (Winter 2019)

This program provides a supportive environment for kids who may be intimidated by a hobby traditionally monopolized by men and boys. Tabletop Roleplaying Games (RPGs) are narrative game systems that encourage cooperation, decision-making and creative thinking. RPG players are immersed in a shared story-telling experience as they work together to overcome obstacles. This program will focus on introducing players to the core concepts of tabletop role play, and learning the rules of a few beginner-friendly game systems.

Game systems may include: Hero Kids, No Thank You Evil, Do: Pilgrims of the Flying Temple, Microscope, Dungeon Crawl Classics, and Dungeons and Dragons.

*This group is also open to transgender and gender nonconforming children.

10% Member discount and 10% Sibling discount will be automatically applied.
